Raspberry and Chocolate Smoothie

Smoothies are such a great way to incorporate things your toddler or child may not be so fussed on eating by themselves; we often load ours up with leafy greens, broccoli and silver beet. But every now and then, it’s nice to have a smoothie that just tastes good and has no hidden agenda!

Gluten, dairy, refined sugar (contains fructose though, so take it easy) and egg free.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup trade aid coconut milk
1 cup almond milk (or water, coconut water or milk alternative of your choice)
3/4 cup frozen raspberries
2 Tbs raw cacao or 1 Tbs good quality cocoa
2 tsp honey (optional – sweeten to taste)

Optional boosters: leafy greens, a tsp chia or flax seed (preferably soaked overnight), slippery elm powder, psyllium husk, spirulina powder, coconut oil, avocado, flax seed oil, grated fresh turmeric…whatever floats your boat.

Blend and enjoy together.

x Aunty Bee
